Our Elementary Boys school builds on over forty years of the undisputable ‘Riyadh Schools’ reputation for producing senior leaders in Saudi Arabian Society.
We are convinced that to make these leaders we need to build a safe elementary school environment where pupils can develop academically, physically, emotionally, spiritually, culturally and socially.
We believe in a truly holistic education that prepares them for life after school. This is reflected in our approach to elementary school learning where some subjects are integrated and taught by the same teacher. Each homeroom class also has a dedicated Homeroom Tutor who is directly responsible for their welfare and your first point of contact at school.
Recently, the Elementary Boys school has taken the further step of adding an International Stream to the school to meet the needs of a significant portion of our student community.
We are proud of this new look Bi-lingual approach that combines native Arabic and English speaking staff to serve our International and National Streams. We have very high expectations of students and teachers and expect the highest levels of standards and professionalism from both.
Our school also follows a blended learning approach where in addition to more traditional resources in the classroom, students also learn using ipads and online tasks as part of our 1:1 program.
In the coming years, we are committed to making Riyadh Schools a model for School Education in Saudi Arabia. As we continue this journey, we feel no shame in being creative, taking risks and trying ideas that have been proven by evidence to improve schools.
As parents, you are a key factor in this success, so we thank you for supporting us in this bold venture. Together, we will succeed.
Feel free to make an appointment and I’d be honoured to discuss our improvement journey further with you.
In the international stream, Riyadh Schools for boys and girls adopts the international schools’ curriculums in national subjects (Arabic Language, Islamic Education, Social Studies) from grades 1-12. In addition to that, Riyadh Schools also adopts the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and English Language and math curriculums according to California Core Standards. Riyadh Schools also applies the 21th century skills rubrics as these are common skills that will be needed for the future labor market. The international stream is being accredited by AdvancED.
